Ⅰ.课程的性质

本课程是电子商务专业（独立本科段）的专业基础课程，适用于达到了专科毕业英语水平的自考者。设置本课程的目的在于使学员进一步掌握英语的语法结构，扩充基础词汇和进行商务交流所需的专业词汇，培养学员具有较强的商务英语听、说、读、写的能力，使他们能够使用英语进行有效的商务沟通。

Ⅱ.课程考核内容与目标

一、课程考核内容

本课程的教材为《中级商务英语》，共24个单元，其中包含了比较系统的英语语法知识，商务英语词汇750个。本课程的重点在于通过真实的商务场景进行英语语法、功能语言、词汇和听说技能的培训，课程的主要目标是培养听、说英语的实际技能，同时兼顾阅读和写作能力的培养。

二、课程考核目标

（一）语法
1.能够较好地掌握有关的语法规则。（专科段课程《电子商务英语》中的语法项目作为本门课程的基本要求）
2.能够运用这些语法规则以及有关句子结构的知识填空、造句或翻译。
3.能够运用这些语法规则解决一般的阅读理解问题。
（二）词汇
1.能够掌握教材涉及的基本词汇和专业词汇，准确理解词汇含义，能够说出汉语意义，拼写正确，并能正确地使用这些词汇。（专科段课程《电子商务英语》中的基本词汇、词组及词汇项目表作为本门课程的基本要求，但本课程不考核《电子商务英语》中的专业词汇）
2.能够识别并说出词的基本语法特征。（包括词类和形态变化）
3.掌握教材涉及的词汇之间的联系，掌握词意相近的词汇之间的区别，能够正确地选择使用。
（三）阅读
能够顺利阅读与教材难度相当的商务英语文章或对话，能够理解实用文摘类文章，如说明书、通知、留言、商务信件及参考材料等。生词不超过所读材料总词数的3%，速度达到每分钟76个词，要求能够进行一定的分析、推理和判断，准确理解阅读材料的主要涵义。
（四）翻译
1.能够运用所学的词汇和语法规则，将较简单的商务汉语译成英语，无重大语法错误。
2.能够将与教材难度相当的商务英语文章或对话译成汉语，要求译文基本正确，文字通顺，翻译速度达到每小时280个单词。

Ⅲ.命题与考试

一、命题的原则

本课程自学考试命题的广度和难度根据本考试大纲规定的知识范围和能力要求确定。命题将遵循以下原则：
1.合理安排测试题目的难度结构。测试题目可以划分容易、比较容易、比较难和难四个等级，在每份试卷中各种难易程度的比例为：容易20%、比较容易30%、比较难30%、难20%。
2.合理确定与教材有关部分所占的比例。教材是自考学生的主要学习材料，试题的设计既要考虑到鼓励学生以课本为主进行学习，又要使试卷体现学生的实际英语水平。在每份试卷中与教材相关或者直接出自于教材的题目占70%，考核综合运用能力出自于教材以外的题目占30%。

二、试题题型

试题题型共8类，包括单词汉译英、单词英译汉、填写语法形式、多项选择、完形填空、阅读理解、英译汉、汉译英等。
1.单词汉译英（10分）
考查学生对教材中出现的基础英语词汇和商务英语词汇及术语的掌握程度。本题要求将20个汉语词译成英语词，每个英语单词的第一个字母已经给出。
2.单词英译汉（10分）
考查学生对教材中出现的商务英语词汇及术语的掌握程度。本题要求将20个英语单词或术语译成汉语。
3.填写语法形式（10分）
考查学生对英语语法和常用单词用法的掌握程度。本题要求考生按照句子的意思将给出的原形词变成适当的形式，所用的句子均出自于教材或根据教材中的句子改写而成。本题所考查的重点在于动词、形容词和副词的各种变化形式。本题共10个小题。
4.单项选择（10分）
考查学生对语法以及词的用法的掌握程度。本题要求考生按照句子的意思，从四个选择项中选择一个最佳选项。本题所用的句子均出自教材或根据教材中的句子改写而成。本题共20个小题，其中语法和词汇各占一半。
5.完形填空（10分）
考查学生对语法和词汇的运用以及简单的阅读理解能力。要求学生从短文后面所提供的四个选择项中选择最佳选项，填入短文的空格内。本题共20个空格。
6.阅读理解（30分）
考查学生的阅读能力。本题要求考生阅读3篇商务英语短文，然后根据短文的内容从四个选择项中选出最佳选项。阅读理解的题目涉及词和短语的意义、文章或段落主题思想或大意、句子表达的内容之间的相互关系、作者的态度以及单句或全文的内在含义或推理等。所给出的文章中基本上没有生词，如出现个别生词，则用英语注出。本题15个小题。
7.英译汉（10分）
考查学生的阅读理解能力和把英语翻译成汉语的能力。要求考生在阅读理解中将5个下划线句子译成汉语。
8.汉译英（10分）
考查学生对课文中的重点句型、词汇和语法的掌握以及运用能力。要求考生把5个汉语句子翻译成英语。

There is always a conflict between the needs of the employer to push for increased output and efficiency, and the needs of the employee be protected from the hazards of the workplace. In the mid-nineteenth century their tensions centered most entirely on the long hours and heavy physical demands. Emotional welfare stems chiefly from any provisions made to improve mental health, for example, counseling, improved communications, or anything involving the human relations needs of people at work .These benefits are, however, highly inter-related and most welfare activities would potentially have both physical and emotional benefits.
Many provisions are less clearly seen as welfare when, for example, they are long standing provisions made by any employers, such as canteens and time off for doctor‘s appointments. Other provisions are less clearly seen as welfare when they are enshrined in the contract of employment and therefore seen as standard. Holiday entitlement would come into this group: however, the amount of holiday is far from standard. In the United Kingdom, holiday entitlement generally ranges from three to six weeks per years which compares very favourably with the two weeks to which many American employees are entitled.
